Is it just us or are bike designers getting younger?

Five year old designs bike for Bumper

Following a competition run at last year’s NEC Cycle Show, Libby Brock has had a bespoke Bumper bike created by the brand.

At Cycle Show, distributor Moore Large ran a competition for children to design a Bumper bike and saw around 200 entries during and sent in after the show had ended.

Libby Brock, a five year old from Nuneaton, was judged in-house as having the best name – Rainbow Bike – and design to reflect the name.

Brock is now the proud owner of the one-off bike she designed.

It’s not the first time Bumper has run a bike design competition for kids, with one six year old creating a ‘Devil Man‘ bike last year.
