Fazua introduce activity tracking with Rider App 2.1.0 update

Fazua has launched its latest app update, version 2.1.0, with the activity tracking app now enabling e-bike riders to get a detailed overview and analysis of their trips at a glance.

The new feature offers, amongst a host of other features, a data summary of the rider’s top speed, pedalling cadence, riding modes used, and an interactive map view.

Features in detail

The Fazua app saves rides as individual “trip cards” in a well organized “Trips” feed. From here, riders can view:

  • General data such as date, start time, trip duration and active riding time, average and top speeds and distance covered.
  • Average and maximum pedal rotations [cadence] as well as the rider’s performance [rider power] are also captured and viewable.
  • A breakdown of the distance covered in the different “Breeze”, “River” and “Rocket” Fazua riding modes is also provided.

In addition to showing who’s contributing more – the rider or the bike – the app also displays a rider /motor power ratio, as well as the number of calories burned and battery level.

Interactive map view

A particular highlight of version 2.1.0 is the interactive map view, with preview and full-screen mode. As a result, riders can display and track their recorded trip with start, pause, and stop positions.

The GPX files can also be easily exported and shared on platforms such as Komoot or Strava.

“With the new update, we’re offering the Fazua community a valuable “extra”. The app instantly displays a whole range of trip data and delivers detailed analyses and a comparison of rider power and motor power,” says Florian van Wurmb-Seibel, chief technology officer of Porsche eBike Performance GmbH.

Fazua in the UK

In January of 2024 the business announced a distribution partnership with Upgrade Bikes.

The Sussex-based distributor is now the UK point of contact for distribution and sales of Fazua spare parts, and will carry out both warehousing and the delivery of products. This includes complete fulfilment of aftersales and warranty claims.
