Fabric has launched the Gripper V2, marking the brand’s first water bottle to feature permanent anti-microbial protection.
The new bottle builds on the original Gripper design, retaining the ergonomic handling features that helped make its predecessor popular with cyclists. A dotted texture around the neck is designed to provide secure grip in wet or dry conditions, while the soft, squeezable BPA-free body and high-flow silicone valve are intended to support fast, drip-free hydration on the bike.
The Gripper V2 also introduces an anti-microbial agent within the bottle material, which Fabric says helps prevent the build-up of unwanted smell and taste over the product’s lifespan.
In a further update, Fabric has replaced painted graphics with an embossed logo moulded directly into the bottle surface. The brand says the approach is designed to avoid peeling graphics and allow the logo to remain visible as the bottle wears over time.
Florian Bont, brand manager at Fabric, said: “With the Gripper V2, we wanted to solve the two biggest complaints riders have with water bottles: unpleasant taste and smell that builds up over time, and ugly, peeling graphics.
“By embedding both the anti-microbial agent and logo directly into the bottle, we’ve created a product that tastes fresh and looks sharp for years.”
The Fabric Gripper V2 is available now in 650ml and 750ml sizes across six colourways: Smoke, Desert, Crimson, Moss, Lake, and transparent.
