The agreement will see EXTRA UK distributing the new HJC road focused Furion and IBEX helmets across the market in 2018 with new products also in the pipeline.
This announcement follows the news that HJC will be the official helmet supplier to the Lotto Soudal UCI Pro Tour team, including André Greipel – winner of stage one at the Tour Down Under this month.
“We are pleased to reveal EXTRA UK as our exclusive distribution partner in the UK and Ireland,” commented HJC. “EXTRA UK have a strong history of distributing quality brands within the cycling market and we are looking forward to a long and successful relationship as we progress our commitment to working with riders at the pinnacle of the sport.”
All Lotto Soudal team riders including the UCI pro men’s team, women’s team and U23 team will be wearing HJC helmets into the 2018 season and beyond.
“We are proud to have HJC on board and look forward to a strong and successful relationship,” added a representative from Extra UK. “The full range will be on display at the Core Bike Show, Whittlebury Hall from Sunday 21 to Tuesday 23 January, where dealers will have the chance to see the products up close.”
