On 28 August, Exposure Lights will release a fully updated range of off-road bar and helmet lights.
The new lineup includes four brand-new bar lights and three helmet lights.
The output has been increased across the range, introduced USB-C charging which makes charging more convenient but also a great deal faster, the rear screen has been upgraded to full colour OLED for even better feedback, performance and rider experience – Exposure
Here are all the details:
Exposure Bar Lights
Now, with the convenience of USB-C charging, the REFLEX 2.0-enabled bar light range has up to 70% faster charge times but still provides the battery protection that is expected of Exposure Lights. Another benefit of USB-C is increased compatibility with power banks, giving ultra riders and bike packers more range.
An all-new colour OLED screen delivers clearer feedback and features a Status Check, from off. With a single press of the function button, the new OLED screen informs program selected, run times in that program and battery charge level, so the rider will know all details at an instant.Â
Each off-road handlebar light now features Reserve Mode. When the runtime hits zero hours it will drop the lumens down to a low level for 30 minutes, which will enable the rider to get back to base.Â
The multiple race and award-winning bar light range, consisting of the Six Pack Mk15, MaXx-D Mk17, Toro Mk16 and Race Mk19, has been extensively updated and upgraded to pump out even more REFLEX technology-controlled lumens, automatically emitting the right lumens at the right time, with no need to push a button.Â
The Six Pack Mk15 boasts 6000 lumens at its REFLEX-boosted maximum, with the equivalent figures being 4850 for the MaXx-D Mk17, 3850 for the Toro Mk15 and 2650 for the Race Mk19.

REFLEX 2.0 Technology – Total control
REFLEX 2.0, Exposure Lights’ Auto Brightness Technology, which is now more effective and seamless than ever, automatically adjusts the brightness of the light, intuitively dimming for the slower sections, such as climbs, allowing it to provide boosted output when riding hard and fast. This is all to optimise battery life and provide complete convenience, allowing the rider to keep their hands on the grips for total control and greater enjoyment.
REFLEX 2.0 achieves this by creating Ai through data collated from thermistors and 3D digital accelerometers, including gyroscope, which continually analyses the data to make seamless adjustments to benefit the rider, probably better than the rider can. Perhaps most importantly, REFLEX 2.0 will calibrate to individual ride speeds, so that maximum and minimum outputs are relevant to that rider’s speed and terrain, regardless of ability.
Exposure Helmet Lights
For convenience and uniformity, the new Exposure helmet lights now feature USB-C charging. Every light in the range is almost 50% faster to charge, while still incorporating the battery protection that is expected of Exposure Lights. USB-C technology also allows for the use of a wider range of power banks with the lights, to facilitate multi-day rides.
In another significant change, all the helmet lights will feature Exposure’s award-winning TAP technology. The Joystick, which has been in the range since 2005, has now been upgraded to benefit from TAP.Â
The program matrix has been simplified but still covers numerous run-time needs, combining coloured LEDs for ease of program selection. For continuity, programs now mirror those of Exposure’s bar-mounted off-road lights.
The multiple award and race-winning helmet light range consists of the Zenith Mk4, Diablo Mk15 and Joystick Mk18. The Zenith Mk4 is now blasting 2360 lumens; the legendary Diablo Mk15 pushes out 2000 lumens, and the iconic Joystick has a pinpoint accurate spot beam putting out up to 1200 lumens.

TAP TechnologyÂ
The ‘no button needed’ TAP technology enables rapid changes between modes by tapping either the body of the light or the helmet. Removing the need to locate the function button results in faster control to match the pace of the trail. Three levels of sensitivity are available to allow greater personalisation.Â
Available from the 28th of August on the Exposure B2B site.
