Expanded womens’ collection from 7mesh

Two-year old 7mesh will be exhibiting its Spring 2018 line at Eurobike. The new line includes an expanded womens’ collection including a new bib short. 7mesh is based in Squamish, British Columbia, one of Canada’s outdoor recreation hotspots.

"The mission to improve women’s bib shorts started on day zero at 7mesh," says a company statement, "and a design area piled high with concepts, prototypes, and detailed feedback from test riders is testament to the intensive process which created the new WK2 Bib Short with Pull2P technology."

The statement claim the WK2 Bib Short is the "first women’s short which combines the comfort and security of a bib short and the easy convenience of a pull-on."

The short features a retention system which combines a yoga-style waistband with easy-stretch bib straps. The straps are crossed at the back and located so the shorts can be pulled down for pit stops without any unclipping, unzipping, or undressing.

The Spring line-up also includes with the Guardian Jacket, a cycle-specific waterproof hardshell. Made with Gore-Tex Active 3L, it features an over-the-helmet hood and a dropped tail. It weighs 266 grams.
