Evans Cycles launches bike cover with Sundays insurance

Evans Cycles, the UK’s largest specialist bike retailer, has partnered with Sundays insurance to provide cover for cyclists with an aim to get them back on their bikes quicker after accident or theft.

Sundays insurance has been providing specialist bicycle insurance since 2009 and has protected more than 100,000 cyclists across the globe – building the brand with an integration into the cycling community.

As part of the partnership, Sundays is offering all Evans Cycles customers 30 days of complimentary insurance when purchasing a new bike or after servicing their bike in store.

When the complimentary period finishes, customers have the option to benefit from a discounted insurance premium, tailored to their riding needs.

The product will be available across all of Evans’ 70 stores, as well as online

Kyle Baird, UK head of distribution at Sundays, said: “The Sundays team is immensely excited to be partnering with one of the longest standing and most iconic names in the cycling industry.

“By offering a period of free insurance, we’re able to provide piece of mind for their new bike customers and help riders get back on their bikes as quickly as possible after an incident.

“Our partnership with Evans Cycles represents a significant step forward in our commitment to providing comprehensive protection and support to cyclists nationwide.”

This partnership extends to all Evans Cycles stores and online bike sales.

Theo Grobler, CEO at Sundays, added: “Sundays insurance is dedicated to supporting cyclists at every stage of their journey. Our products aren’t designed by nameless faces in suits – they’re designed by cyclists, who sometimes wear suits.

“We have a deep understanding of the cycling world and the risks cyclists face, it’s what makes us great at what we do.”
