Endura, the Scottish cycle clothing brand, is to be the clothing sponsor for the Spanish road team Movistar

Endura to be Movistar Team’s kit sponsor

Endura of Scotland has signed a three year deal to be the clothing partner for Movistar Team, from 2014. The Spanish UCI pro road team’s kit is currently supplied by Nalini and this is a move into the big-time for Endura, which is expanding rapidly, including in key markets such as the US.

Endura will provide all Movistar Team’s performance clothing and be the official supplier of Movistar Team clothing to retailers globally.

Almost all of the clothing provided to the team will be produced in Endura’s production facility in Livingston.

Jim McFarlane, director of Endura, said: “Movistar are at the top of their game and we have an excellent relationship with them. Right from the start of our discussions it was clear that we shared a common vision of how to work together and of the goals that we should set ourselves in this project."

The new 2014 Movistar Team clothing is scheduled to be unveiled later this year.

Endura currently co-sponsors Team NetApp-Endura, a German-licensed road team.
