Eddy Merckx will act as guest of honour on the opening night of the 2018 Rouleur Classic, and will be inducted into the inaugural Rouleur Hall of Fame.
A guest at the first ever Rouleur Classic, Merckx will be joined in the Hall of Fame by Beryl Burton, represented at the event by her daughter Denise.
With a new theme, the Rouleur Classic will once again showcase a unique collection of experiences and exhibits curated exclusively for the passionate and knowledgeable cycling audience. After three award-winning years, the Rouleur Classic will work with new partners in Santini – official clothing partner of the UCI Road World Championships – My Switzerland and Made in Bern. Distributor Saddleback will once again present its brands in an “experiential way.”
As well as Eddy Merckx, there will be a full line-up of guests and pro-riders in attendance; these will be announced over the coming months, with Paolo Bettini, Maurizio Fondriest and Lizzie Deignan already confirmed.
Brands confirmed to be in attendance in 2018 include 3T, 4iiii, Alchemy, Ashmei, ASSOS, Campagnolo, Cannondale, Castelli, Cervelo, Chris King, Colnago, Continental, Deda, Elite, Endura, ENVE, Fizik, Focus, Giro, Gore, Katusha, Knight, Koo, Lightweight, Look, Pirelli, POC, Polartec, Prologo, Rolo, Santini, Sidi, Silca, Specialized, SRAM, Stages, Tacx, Titici and Zipp.
Returning to Victoria House in the heart of London, the entrance has been moved to Southampton Row, making access to the more convenient. Ticket prices for the opening night have also been reduced.
Early bird ticket prices start from £20, with the opening gala night being reduced to £60 – available to buy now from www.rouleurclassic.cc.
