The Electric Bike Corporation has announced the opening of a new training facility and display room at its Warwickshire headquarters.
The new open plan training facility and display room is purpose built to offer shop staff the latest information and experience with contemporary e-bike products. With certification and accreditation from TranzX, Bosch and Shimano Steps, dealers are given an experience that is designed to help them understand servicing and diagnostic requirements.
Over the last six months the EBC has trained over 200 individuals from IBDs, Halfords, Cycle Republic and staff from all 66 Evans stores. Now with a capacity to train small groups of 15-20 in the new facility, the brand will hold regular seminars to keep its dealers updated in all the latest technology. The sessions include demonstrations on battery and motor servicing through to software updating, diagnostics and warranty issues.
We now have the ability to train both workshop and sales staff on the latest tech, hardware and software.
"We have now attended two of the EBCO seminars with Bosch and TranzX, where we received free technical training; delivered by experts in an easy to follow and understandable manner. EBCO structured the day well and even though it was a lot of technical information it was delivered in such a way, it was very easy to retain.
“We learnt a lot from them and even if you have already attended one, it is a great way to network with other dealers and get all the latest news from Bosch and TranzX.It was also really good to be able to test ride the ebikes with experts at hand to answer any questions. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable and informative day,” commented Laura Jones of Espokes.
