The Taiwanese chainwheel maker has collapsed, reportedly with debts of $15m. Dotek is probably the best-known 'no brand name' chainwheel maker in the Far-East. The company also produces brakes, suspension forks, and hubs.

Dotek goes down

Dotek is based in the Nan Kang Industrial District of Nantou, Taiwan. It was founded in 1987 and has 150 employees.

Dotek produces low-end parts for many of the world’s bike makers.

The CEO Mr. C.H. Wu has so far not replied to BikeBiz.co.uk emails.
