Decathlon UK hires new national workshop manager

Victor Nafria has recently been appointed as the new national cycles workshop manager for Decathlon UK.

Nafria is the current national buyer at Decathlon for cycling products and has previous store management experience both in the UK and for Decathlon in Spain. He comes from a strong cycling background thanks to his time racing for numerous teams in Spain.

National cycling manager at Decathlon UK Peter Lazarus commented: "The forecasted growth in the number of stores and increase in our market share means that we need to focus much more on providing excellent after sales care in all of our UK stores. Staff training, career development and diversifying the level of service in our stores will form the cornerstone of this new dedicated role."

Decathlon currently has 27 stores in the UK with seven more due to open in 2017.
