Firm reported to have postponed new facility opening by two years

Decathlon delays Lille expansion

According to this report in BikeEurope, bike giant Decathlon has postponed the opening of its factory in Lille, France.

The French firm is expected to hold the facility back by two year, with the reason for the delay said to be due to the company already holding stock of one million bikes at the end of 2008.

Decathlon has not put off the opening of a new 4,000 meter squared store in Rostock, Germany however, bring it’s total for the country up to ten.
