Fresh faced cycle mag from Dennis Publishing in line for three prizes

Cyclist Magazine scores hat-trick of PPA Award nominations

Cyclist Magazine has been nominated for three awards at this year’s PPA Awards.

The Cyclist nominations are:

Editor of the Year – Pete Muir, Cyclist
Game Changer of the Year – Cyclist
Specialist Consumer Mag of the Year – Cyclist

"I’m really pleased that we’ve been nominated for three awards," said Nicola Bates, publisher of Cyclist Magazine. "There aren’t many brands that manage to acheive this. The PPA Awards are the most coveted awards in the UK magazine and business publishing industry, showcasing talent, rewarding innovation, and providing a benchmark for excellence.

"There’s very tough competition within our nominated categories, and we’re up against established brands such as ELLE, GQ and Top Gear, so here’s hoping we walk away with an award. I’m particularly pleased with Pete Muir’s Editor of the Year nomination. Pete’s pulled together a cracking team and a stunning magazine that consumers and industry alike love. He’s worked tirelessly for the last two years on Cyclist, and this accolade would be very well deserved."

Last year Cyclist was voted by the cycle trade to win the specialist print publication at the BikeBiz Awards 2013.

The winners of the PPA awards will be revealed on July 10th. Click the link for a full PPA Awards 2014 shortlist.
