Online retailer and brand group, Cycling Brands Ltd, has reported that it is set to post a profit for the 2025 financial year following a loss of £220K in 2024.
The company, behind Prendas Ciclismo and Shutt Velo Rapide, says the result comes at a time when the wider cycling sector continues to face significant challenges, with several high-profile apparel businesses closing and major brands reporting heavy losses.
According to Cycling brands, much of the industry has faced contraction, but they have delivered year-on-year growth across their two core brands. Strong performances from Prendas and Shutt Velo Rapide, combined with continued investment in product quality and customer experience, have helped the business buck the prevailing market trend.

Cycling Brands says Prendas Ciclismo has also delivered a solid year.
