Bicycle insurance specialist will also have a green screen on its stand that will place visitors 'in the peleton'

CycleGuard adds to cycle parking at Yorkshire Festival of Cycling

CycleGuard will be offering both cycle parking and the chance to virtually appear in the TdF peleton on stand 37 at this weekend’s Yorkshire Festival of cycling.

Visitors to the Cycleguard stand in the festival’s Expo area will be able to select their favourite place on the Tour, whether it’s heading up the peloton, or spinning past the Arc de Triomphe next to Bradley Wiggins and green screen technology will take a souvenir photo which can then also be shared online by social media. They will even be able wear a replica of the famous yellow jersey.

Visitors will also be able to take advantage of the firm’s secure bicycle storage area, and claim exclusive discounts on renewals or new insurance policies with Cycleguard.

Adrian Scott, product director at Cycleguard commented: “Cycling is a huge passion for Brits. Having the Tour de France kicking off in England makes it the biggest cycling event in the country this year.

“As well as providing a safe place to store their bicycles in the Cycleguard Secure Bike Storage Area, the Cycleguard green screen will allow fans to get even closer to the action. We look forward to seeing everyone there.”

Tickets for the festival, which starts tomorrow, can still be purchased at www.festivalofcycling.org.
