Cycle Together, founded by siblings Biola and Kunle Babawale with the common aim of making cycling more accessible and inclusive, has shared news of two new partnerships.

These partnerships pave the way for the Cycle Together Cycling Programs, designed to coach and empower Londoners in cycling for leisure and transportation.

New partners. New opportunities.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to partner with Specialized and Balfe’s Bikes. These collaborations will enable us to further our mission of promoting cycling diversity and building lifelong cycling skills within our communities,” comment Biola and Kunle Babawale.

Specialized will be sponsoring Cycle Together’s upcoming Beginner Cycling Programmes.

Commenting on the partnership, a representative for the brand said: ā€œWe at Specialized feel privileged to play a small part in what is an amazing programme that is dedicated to making cycling more accessible and inclusive.

ā€œIt is amazing to see the direct impact that Biola and Kunle and the Cycle Together team are able to achieve by empowering new riders from all genders, backgrounds and cultures…

“…we are really looking forward to seeing the riders grow in confidence and enjoy a lifelong passion cycling.ā€

Participants will benefit from expert coaching, equipment, and safety advice, with ride leaders receiving Specialized goodie bags, including helmets.

Balfe’s Bikes is also partnering with Cycle Together to support the participant’s cycling journey.

A spokesperson from Balfes reflected, ā€œOur business exists to make cycling welcoming for all and empower people to feel confident living life on two wheels – we feel that the work Cycle Together is doing perfectly aligns with our values.

“We’re really excited to work with the team out of our newly refreshed Streatham store and help each participant build confidence both on and off the bike.ā€

The retailer will provide bike servicing, act as a meeting point for rides, and offer bike maintenance sessions to enhance the participants’ cycling experience.
