Continental has expanded its Aero 111 road tyre range with the launch of a new 32mm variant, developed to bring the model’s aerodynamic performance to riders seeking greater comfort and stability on challenging road surfaces.
Developed with Swiss Side and DT Swiss, the Aero 111 is a front-wheel-specific tyre designed to reduce drag and improve handling across a range of yaw angles. The new 32mm option joins existing 29mm and 26mm sizes in the line-up.
The tyre uses a patented tread pattern featuring 48 precision cavities, which Continental said act as vortex generators to manipulate airflow around the front wheel and delay air separation. The design is intended to reduce drag while increasing the sailing effect in crosswinds.
The 32mm Aero 111 retains Continental’s BlackChili compound, Vectran Breaker puncture protection and tubeless-ready construction. The tyre is also hookless rim compatible and is made in Germany.
