CeramicSpeed has unveiled its latest off-road product specifically for cyclocross and gravel bikes, the OSPW X for Sram 1x derailleurs.
Launched at VeloFollies in Benelux, it has been in development since summer 2018 and has been tested with Tom Pidcock and former pro cyclist Mads Christensen.
It features a custom-designed carbon fiber pulley cage assembly that is lightweight and durable. Designed, developed and handbuilt in Denmark, with CeramicSpeed bearings inside, it comes with a warranty of up to six years.
Martin Banke, CeramicSpeed’s executive vice president, said: “This product introduction is a fantastic step for us. An oversized pulley wheel system specifically designed for gravel and cyclocross conditions is the first step of many as we aim to bring our knowledge and expertise to the off-road segment.
"When we released our first OSPW System back in 2015, we always knew the product could provide major benefits to the off-road rider. We have learnt so much over the years in developing OSPW Systems. Gravel and CX is the natural progression from road. With thousands of testing kilometres banked, this is a brilliant product that is already proven in the harshest environments."
