Campagnolo’s long-awaited Electronic Power Shift groupset has landed with i-ride today and is now available to order via the B2B website.
Now stock has arrived, i-ride has also told BikeBiz of free training sessions at the distributor’s headquarters on the South Downs, scheduled for Tuesday 24th of April. All enquiries for training should be sent here.
"To buy a groupset at least one member of staff must be fully Campagnolo EPS trained," said Tom Marchement of i-ride’s marketing department. "Other subsequent training days will be provided dependent upon demand. There will be limited stock available to start with so getting your orders in quickly is essential. There is available stock of Record EPS but there may also be a limited number of Super Record Groupsets available once all pre-orders have been fulfilled."
Dealers must have full Campagnolo Pro Shop status to sell EPS, for which a two day course with UK accredited trainer Velotech is necessary.
Greame Freestone King added: "It is a very thorough, Campag-specialist course that assumes a level of knowledge commensurate with any of the level-2 training programmes – Velotech Platinum, Cytech 2, C and G, that are out there and also requires competence in wheelbuilding. I’ll be delivering a seminar on it at the Road Bike Show, Sandown Park, this Saturday at 2pm, in conjunction with Chicken Cycle Kit. Interested parties should contact me at velotechcycling@aim.com."
