Bosch eBike Systems has launched a range of pioneering new products designed for “modern eBike riders with flexible lifestyles.” At the heart is the Hub Line, a light, agile, and almost invisible hub motor built specifically for city riders who want to move quickly and in style. Together with the compact PowerTube 360 battery, it enables sleek, minimalist eBike designs. The latest urban portfolio is completed by a new Bosch ConnectModule for smart theft protection, a compact LED Controller, and the easy-to-use Intuvia 200 display.

The German brand has also Bosch has upgraded the Active Line Plus to be smaller, lighter, and more supportive. The smart systemalso adds the new Intuvia 200 display, an improved ConnectModule, and thePowerTube 720 battery for rides up to 185 kilometers.
Clean style, smart power
For riders wanting to make their everyday life in the city easier and more stylish, Bosch eBike Systems is breaking new ground with the Hub Line. Until now, the company has been known for its powerful mid-drive motors, but the Hub Line heralds a new era for elegant urban eBikes as the first hub motor in the smart system. Developed specifically for city riding, it delivers 45 Nm of torque for a ride that feels noticeably lively yet smooth. A smart sensor function keeps control precise and ensures agile riding behaviour, allowing riders to tackle situations such as starting off at traffic lights or moderate inclines without breaking a sweat.
At speeds exceeding 25 km/h, the motor is completely decoupled, allowing the eBike to be ridden like a conventional bike, with virtually no pedal resistance.
At just 2.3 kg, the lightweight motor makes the eBike highly manoeuvrable and easy to carry. It is also incredibly compact. With a diameter of only 100 mm and a black aluminium housing, the motor blends seamlessly into the wheel hub for a virtually invisible, clean look.
As an integral part of the smart system, the Hub Line is fully connected. In combination with the eBike Flow app, the smartphone becomes an intuitive control centre for intelligent functions such as theft protection, navigation and personalisation. Continuous over-the-air updates ensure that the eBike is always up to date. For riders wanting a more comfortable ride, the Hub Line can be combined with eShift electronic gear shifting. Riders can choose between manual or automatic shifting, ensuring smooth, efficient gear changes at exactly the right moment
Energy at its most streamlined
In keeping with the clean design of the Hub Line, Bosch also presents the
PowerTube 360, the slimmest battery in its smart system to date. The battery’s 68 mm profile integrates seamlessly into the frame, ensuring the eBike looks just like a conventional bicycle at first glance. The low weight of the battery, at only around 2.1 kg, optimises the eBike’s centre of gravity, allowing it to respond and travel more dynamically. The 360 Wh battery delivers reliable energy for daily urban use, offering a range of over 80 km¹. For longer distances, the DualBattery system can be extended using the PowerMore 250 Range Extender. Depending on the frame design, the PowerTube 360 can be permanently built in or easily removed.
Intelligent protection for greater peace of mind with the Bosch
ConnectModule
With the Bosch ConnectModule, riders can enjoy peace of mind, even when they don’t have a direct view of their eBike. Equipped with GPS, mobile communications and motion sensors, it forms the basis for advanced digital theft protection functions, such as eBike Alarm. The latest generation of this module introduces two key innovations. Bluetooth® Low Energy technology is used for highly accurate tracking within a few metres. This helps locate an eBike in places where conventional GPS trackers often fall short, such as basements and backyards. The module can also be retrofitted to compatible eBikes easily using a flexible attachment. The extended features are part of the Flow+ paid subscription service.
LED Controller: maximum control, minimal design
With the new LED Controller, Bosch has launched the successor to the LED Remote. Thanks to its design, the new control unit is around 65% smaller than its predecessor, ensuring a tidy, minimalist look on the handlebars. Ergonomics take centre stage here, with all five buttons optimally positioned within easy reach of the rider’s thumb and provide tangible and audible feedback. eBikers can change the support mode, enable walk assistance, or operate the light safely, without having to take their eyes off the road. The LEDs clearly display information such as the riding mode and battery level, while a sensor automatically adjusts their brightness to the ambient light for optimum readability during day and night. A practical USB-C connector with up to 10 Wh of charging power2 also allows external devices to be charged.

The Intuvia 200 is more than just a display – it’s a design statement. Its sleek, minimalist look blends seamlessly into the aesthetics of any eBike and emphasises its clean look. The 2.4-inch greyscale display provides a razor-sharp image and ensures excellent readability in any weather and from any perspective. Allowing eBikers to focus entirely on their flow during the ride and enjoy their urban experience.
