"It's not just about bike racing, it is now very much a bike festival," says organiser

Bontrager TwentyFour12 looks to grow industry involvement

The organisers behind the Bontrager TwentyFour12 have told BikeBiz they are increasingly keen to turn the event into one with a heavier trade involvement.

Now in its ninth year, organiser Martyn Salt is keen to see the industry get involved, with sponsorship from Bontrager, CLIF, Juice Lubes, Exposure, Cycle Surgery and Pivot already tied up for this year’s event.

“Bontrager TwentyFour12 is not just about racing. It is very much a bike festival that attracts trail riders and their families from across the UK and, increasingly, mainland Europe,” said Salt.

“The festival atmosphere is ensured as we have live music playing, midnight jazz and Dartmoor Brewery involved too so it’s a fun event for all.

“This is an ideal opportunity for brands who want to get involved with the MTB and family markets to be part of a memorable event and speak directly to their customers”.

The Expo area is located immediately next to the start/finish and catering areas and bookings can be obtained by speaking to Martyn Salt on 07884-272063, or emailing on info@twentyfour12.com. Prices start at £140 for a 3mx3m pitch.

More information and event registration can be found here.

This year’s event runs July 26th and 27th at Newnham Park in Plymouth.
