BlackBox products from RockShox to go on sale

"Always wanting to ride the cool stuff Roland Green, Brian Lopes and Steve Peat are riding?!" asks a press release from RockShox.

"Now you can! Starting this fall, RockShox will make BlackBox Racing components available for the public to buy."

The first piece RockShox will make available is the new SID Carbon BlackBox. This is the fork, that just won the overall Cross Country World Cup with Roland Green, Team Trek, and Barbara Blatter, Team Specialized.

RockShox BlackBox products will be available to the trade via Madison.

BlackBox Racing is the RockShox programme which provides special racing product to key sponsored riders.

SID Carbon BlackBox will have a one piece crown-steerer carbon assembly. It includes Pure damping system with Climb-it-Control lockout and titanium parts. SID Carbon BlackBox will have the choice between 63 or 80 mm of travel.

"BlackBox Racing products have won countless medals at Olympic Games, World Championships and World Cups," said a statement from RockShox.

"By making selected pieces available to the public, RockShox wants to carry over the racing excitement and success to the consumers."
