Bicycle Buyer on sale today

The first edition of Bicycle Buyer will hit shelves today in Borders, WHSmith, Tesco and independent outlets nationwide.

Technical editor, Clive Gosling told BikeBiz: "Bicycle Buyers initial print run will be 35,000 with free sampling at Cycle 2008 and distribution through all the usual channels.

"The trade response has been very encouraging with all the key players on board with advertising schedules. Bicycle Buyer is a magazine more about bikes and kit than cycling, this sets it apart from every other title out there who are all fighting over the established enthusiasts and why it had been so well received. This is the magazine for the new, born again, or less hardcore consumers and the ‘cycleschemers’, the general view in the trade was ‘It’s about time!’"

The publication will run alongside thebicyclebuyer.com, which will be an online companion designed to help consumers make their purchasing decisions through online video tests and extensive product databases.
