In order to support its “existing and future expansion”, Bianchi owner Salvatore Grimaldi and current CEO Bob Ippolito have decided to strengthen the Bianchi organisation with the addition of Fabrizio Scalzotto in the role of CEO.
Scalzotto will report to Bob Ippolito, who will continue to manage the overall Global Bianchi company in the new position of executive chairman.
Fabrizio Scalzotto has extensive management experience as general manager of another leading company in the bicycle industry. Ippolito commented: “Bianchi is confident that the addition of Fabrizio, together with Bianchi’s already strong management team members, will provide Bianchi with the additional organizational depth necessary to prepare for the next step in its business plan.”
Fabrizio Scalzotto is expected to start on 3rd September 2018.
