Following the acquisition last year, Scott Sports (UK Branch) is now beginning the new phase of the Bergamont Bike journey in the UK.
2016 Bergamont stock is now available from Scott Sports UK HQ in Cramlington, Northumberland which will provide all Sales / Technical – After Sales / Customer Services, Marketing and Finance Support across all of the UK.
Adrian Hewson (North) and Dean Grasby (South) will manage sales of Bergamont Bikes and Syncross with mentor Keith Murray (UK Bike Sales Manager for SCOTT) to assist managing any crossover sales as great interest has already been expressed from existing SCOTT stockists, we’re told.
Bergamont bikes will makes its own journey as an alternative Brand along side SCOTT, the firm said.
SCOTT Sports UK general manager Dave Rainsford said: “Bergamont Bikes bring a great value for money quality German brand offering to the consumer, we anticipate great interest in model year 2017.”
The launch of the new 2017 Bergamot bikes will take place 15th to 19th of August at Newbury Race Course. An open house show in the North will follow for three weeks by appointment at SCOTT HQ in Cramlington.
German bicycle brand Bergamont began in the heart of Hamburg back in 1993 and now has a full range of bikes covering many disciplines. The firm said: "Bergamont now has the successful over look of SCOTT Sports SA to drive this exciting journey forward. Bergamont bikes deliver great build quality at a key price point which will fit perfectly along side the high end product SCOTT Sports SA already provide."
