BA to stage e-bike forum

The Bicycle Association of Great Britain is to stage a one-day market review meeting concerning e-bikes.

The meeting will be limited to 60 attendees and will be held at the offices of BEN, Town Thorns, Easenhall, Nr Rugby. Starting at 10.30am and finished by 1.30pm, the meeting will review the current market offerings and discuss EU and UK ‘pedelec’ legislation.

There will be attempts to estimate the size and growth potential of the UK e-bike market and discussions about consumer issues such as servicing and maintenance of electric bikes.

A number of suppliers will have e-bikes on hand for attendees to trial.

This BA meeting will also have a round-up of the latest Bike Hub levy news, including a demonstration of Bike Hub’s cycle journey planning app. Currently available as a free app from iTunes for iPhones, an Android version is in development.
