Artist seeks bespoke commissions from bike shops

Gill Oakes of Manchester produces cycling-themed artworks, and she’ll produce one for you.

"I’m a keen cyclist and illustrator, and I wanted to combine them both and open a shop to sell my artwork," Oakes told BikeBiz.

Her Pedalareshop sells prints of her work, but she’s also open to bespoke commissions.

"I’ve done a commission for Wout Poels from Team Sky. I charge £30 for an A3 digital-print commission."

For every product sold via her online store Oakes donates to charity.

"I change the charity I donate to every three months – at the moment it’s Manchester’s homeless charity The Mustard Tree."
