The site says Trek is for "whether you’re a professional bike racer—like 2008 Giro d’Italia Champion and Trek-athlete Alberto Contador, a recreational rider, or a commuter who uses a bicycle as a daily mode of transportation.

"With over 1,700 retail locations throughout the U.S. and Canada, as well as subsidiary offices in Europe and Asia and distributors in 90 countries around the globe, Trek bicycles are sold worldwide through an exclusive network of independent bicycle dealers."

Trek University, the online and offline training program from Trek, stars in the Apple video.

Apple said: "Trek Bicycle Corporation, in conjunction with design agency Planet Propaganda, takes designs created in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator and combines them with video in Final Cut Studio to deliver video podcasts. The podcasts are available to their sales teams and dealer network around the world utilizing a password protected extranet site.

"These video podcasts may be viewed on many devices ranging from web delivered video viewed on a computer, to mobile devices like iPod and iPhone, and large-screen televisions with Apple TV."
