Apex DST announces two major additions to its UK distribution portfolio alongside the appointment of Andrew Dodds as Sales Agent for Scotland.
Apex DST has announced the addition of Devinci Bikes and Trickstuff to its growing portfolio of mountain bike brands, ‘further strengthening the company’s position as a specialist UK distributor focused on the performance MTB market.’
Canadian manufacturer Devinci has a long history in mountain biking, designing and manufacturing bikes for everything from trail and enduro riding through to downhill and e-MTB. Apex will be working to re-establish and grow Devinci’s presence in the UK, building a focused dealer network and putting bikes underneath riders through an extensive demo, event and race programme.
At the component end of the bike, German manufacturer Trickstuff joins the Apex portfolio with its range of braking products. Best known for its premium brake systems, Trickstuff also produces brake pads, rotors and associated components aimed firmly at riders looking for maximum braking performance.
Apex DST says the arrival of both brands represents the next stage in the growth of the company.
Rather than simply adding brands to a catalogue, Apex says its focus is on building a tightly curated portfolio of products that the team genuinely believes in, and that complement one another within the specialist MTB market.
Andrew Dodds joins Apex as Sales Agent for Scotland
Alongside the expansion of its brand portfolio, Apex has appointed Andrew Dodds as its new Sales Agent for Scotland.

Andrew will work directly with existing and prospective Apex dealers throughout Scotland, supporting the company’s complete brand portfolio and helping Apex develop stronger relationships with independent bike shops across the region.
The appointment forms part of Apex’s wider investment in dealer support as the business grows, with an emphasis on giving retailers direct access to people who understand both the products and the mountain bike market they operate in.
Apex DST said:
“We’re really excited about where Apex is heading. Devinci and Trickstuff are exactly the sort of brands we want to work with – proper mountain bike brands with great products, strong identities and a genuine reason for existing.
“Devinci gives us the opportunity to work with a complete bike brand that we believe has huge potential in the UK, while Trickstuff brings one of the most respected names in high-performance braking into the portfolio.
“Bringing Andrew on board in Scotland is another important part of that growth. We don’t want Apex to become a huge catalogue with hundreds of brands. The aim is to represent a smaller number of great brands properly, support our dealers and actually help build those brands in the UK.”
