Italian apparel brand Alé has announced its partnership with one of the most prestigious women’s teams on the WorldTour circuit, Fenix-Deceuninck.

The partnership – said to reaffirm the brand’s commitment to supporting women’s cycling – begins with the 2025 cycling season, and sees the brand become the official kit supplier for the Fenix-Deceuninck women’s team.

“For Alé, women’s cycling has always been of utmost importance,” said Alessia Piccolo, CEO of APG, the company behind Alé.

Piccolo further comments: “We were the first to bring an Italian women’s team to the World Tour, and today, this partnership is a proud milestone in a journey that started long ago.

“We are especially honoured to outfit athletes who are making history in cyclocross and beyond: their victories are an inspiration, and their feedback will be invaluable as we continue to provide cyclists who trust Alé with products of excellence.”

The team boasts some of the strongest riders in the sport, including multi-discipline star Puck Pieterse, who claimed the U23 and Elite MTB XCO World Championship titles in 2024, former world and European cyclocross champion Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado, current Italian cyclocross champion Sara Casasola (who won the title with the Crelan-Corendon team, a partner of Alé), and Yara Kastelijn, European cyclocross champion in 2019.

Sponsorship and brand identity on show

Alé has designed three new jerseys for the team, which will be worn by the athletes in upcoming competitions: the blue jersey, the team’s official kit, whose design reflects the team’s history and classic ultramarine blue and white colours; the green “Comodoro” jersey, inspired by one of the iconic shades from Fenix’s interior design; and the new red “Namibia” jersey, inspired by the striking colours of this beautiful African region.

Team manager Philip Roodhooft comments: “Our main partner Fenix is known as ‘a brand of colours,’ and with Alé, we have found a partner that helps us bring this vision to the peloton, as demonstrated by the three jerseys for 2025. Furthermore, Alé guarantees high-quality and innovative clothing, a must in modern cycling.”

A spokesperson for the brand also points out that the team’s kits are “part of Alé’s PR-S 2.0 collection, designed with high-performance fabrics and cuts to support professional cyclists in their pursuit of excellence”.

Roodhooft further adds: “We are proud to welcome a company like Alé, with years of knowledge, experience, and certainly passion, to our team. We got to know each other through the collaboration in the cyclocross project around Ryan Kamp, and it quickly became clear that there was a strong foundation to expand the partnership.”

Team sponsorship news

The news of the new apparel partnership comes as the team also confirms “Fenix commitment as main title sponsor has been renewed until at least the end of 2027.”

“We are proud to extend our partnership with Fenix-Deceuninck, supporting their growth and success. Their commitment to excellence and innovation reflects FENIX’s values, making this collaboration a perfect match for shared aspirations,” said Stefano Mion, CEO of Arpa Industriale, the company that created Fenix.
