Austrian bike brand KTM recently announced its return to the UK market, stating “we aren’t just bringing back the bikes; we’re bringing a whole new level of local support.” At the heart of the relaunch is a new distribution model.

For the rider, this means the days of “importing the dream” are over. By establishing a dedicated UK presence, KTM aims to ensure that local bike shops and customers have immediate access to parts, warranty support, and technical expertise.

Phil Woodward UK Sales Manager KTM Bike

KTM Bike Industries UK has appointed Phil Woodward as UK Sales Manager, as the brand continues to build out its UK dealer network and retail partnerships.

KTM Bike Industries UK spokesperson said:

“Phil’s industry knowledge, account management expertise and retailer-first approach make him an excellent addition to the team. His appointment reinforces our commitment to first-class service and long-term dealer partnerships as we grow our UK operation.”

The appointment comes as the brand relaunches into the UK for a fresh start with an exciting MY’27 range backed by fully supported distribution and a growing range of premium bicycles and e-bikes.

Woodward joins with almost 20 years’ experience in the UK cycling trade, having held senior sales, Key Account Manager and National Account Manager roles at Raleigh and, most recently, TVS E Bike Company. He has a strong track record in dealer relationship management and commercial growth across independent and national accounts.

In his new role, Woodward will support KTM’s UK relaunch and expanding dealer network, develop new retail partnerships, and drive growth for the brand across the UK.

Phil Woodward, UK Sales Manager, KTM Bike Industries UK:

“KTM is a brand that needs no introduction—one built on an outstanding heritage, but it’s the future that excites me most. With world-class pedigree, a powerful presence across Europe and beyond, deep roots in its home country of Austria, and bold ambitions for where we’re headed next, KTM is a name that carries real weight globally.

Strong partnerships with retailers will be the foundation on which we build that future, and I look forward to growing alongside our existing dealers while bringing new retailers on board to help shape everything KTM is becoming.”
