Mondraker has unveiled the second generation of its Dusty platform, repositioning the bike from its original e-gravel focus into what the Spanish brand describes as an “all-round” e-bike designed for gravel, commuting, weekend rides and mixed-surface adventures.

The new Dusty will launch with retail availability from 30 July.

Second-generation platform

First introduced in 2023 as Mondraker’s debut move beyond mountain bikes, the Dusty marked the brand’s entry into the e-gravel category. For 2027, the platform has been redesigned around a Stealth Air Carbon frameset and fork, paired with TQ’s HPR60 drive unit.

The HPR60 system delivers 60Nm of torque, 350W peak power and up to 200% assistance. Mondraker says the motor and battery placement has been developed to keep weight central and preserve a natural ride feel when assistance cuts out at 25km/h.

Battery, range and integration

The Dusty is offered with a fully integrated 580Wh internal battery, while selected “S” builds can also be specified with a lighter 360Wh option. A 160Wh range extender, mounted in a bottle-style format with a Fidlock mount, is compatible across the range.

The bike features a colour TQ display integrated into the top tube, Bluetooth connectivity to the TQ E-Bike app and ANT+ compatibility for bike computer integration. Three assistance modes are customisable via the app.

Frame and ride features

The Stealth Air Carbon frameset weighs a claimed 1,710g in size M/L, with a 490g fork. Mondraker says the frameset has been designed from the ground up for strength, stiffness and vertical compliance, while meeting the same ISO testing standards as its mountain bikes.

Key design features include Hidden Housing Guide cable routing through the headset, 700x50c tyre clearance, flat mount braking, UDH hanger compatibility, 12x100mm front and 12x142mm rear axles, a tapered head tube and KSA40 kickstand mount.

The carbon fork is designed with the same axle-to-crown length as a 40mm suspension fork at sag, allowing riders to fit a suspension option without changing the bike’s geometry.

Models and availability

The new Dusty range will be available in five sizes — S, M, M/L, L and XL — with both drop bar and flat bar options on selected builds.

The range comprises the Dusty RR, Dusty R, Dusty S Dropbar and Dusty S Flatbar. Build highlights include SRAM AXS and Shimano GRX or SLX drivetrains, Mavic or Zipp wheelsets, 1×12 gearing with a 42t chainring, and 700x50c tyres.

Flat bar Dusty S models add an upright cockpit and X-Fusion Manic dropper seatpost, positioning the bike towards riders seeking a more trail-influenced riding position for mixed terrain and urban use.
