Muc-Off has appointed Sven Mack as Chief Strategy Officer, a senior leadership appointment that strengthens the company’s global commercial strategy and continued growth across cycling and powersports markets.

Muc-Off sees Sven’s appointment as an evolution of a near-twenty-year working relationship, bringing deep market insight and distributor-side experience directly into the business.

Career overview

Sven joins Muc-Off as the founder of Sports Nut in Germany, one of Muc-Off’s first international distribution partners, having worked closely with the brand since 2007 and bringing with him 28 years of experience in the cycling and powersports industry.

Following a long and successful career with the Hostettler Group in Switzerland, beginning with the strategic acquisition of Sports Nut, Sven went on to hold senior leadership roles across the organisation.

Most recently, he served as CEO for all German entities of the Hostettler Group, overseeing both the bike and motorcycle distribution businesses for Europe, leading operations and strategic direction across both categories, as well as their Berlin-based e-commerce hub, Hoco Online. His experience spans brand building, international distribution, digital transformation, and commercial strategy – with a strong understanding of the premium brands at both trade and retail level.

As Chief Strategy Officer, Sven will focus on long-term strategic planning, global market development and the continued evolution of Muc-Off’s e-commerce platforms.
