German cargo bike manufacturer Ca Go has teamed up with Rouleur for a unique creative partnership, developing a specially designed CS model which will make its debut at Rouleur Live.
The collaboration, built on “a mutual commitment to functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability”, sees Ca Go and Rouleur aiming to “reinterpret cycling as a lifestyle and cultural phenomenon”. With a unique blend of style and substance, the partnership sees the brands sharing a bike which delivers for fans of both elements.
From everyday bike to a symbol of new mobility
For Rouleur Publisher Matteo Cassina, the partnership goes beyond practicality – it’s about inspiring people to rethink urban mobility: “I have ridden a Ca Go to the office now for over 6 months every day and have never used any other means of transport since.
“Following this experience, I discussed with Ca Go-founder Franc Arnold the idea of making a Ca Go CS x Rouleur and inspire our readers to use their cars less in the cities.”
Sophie Browne of UK distributor Also Bikes adds, “The Ca Go CS x Rouleur serves as the perfect vehicle for this mission. With its compact City Utility Vehicle (CUV) design, Triple Load Space, and agile handling even when fully loaded, it’s ideally suited for Matteo’s urban lifestyle. With a minimalist brushed aluminium design, the CS special edition perfectly embodies our shared vision.”
A stylish workhorse. More than a showpiece.

The bike won’t just be on display at Rouleur Live – it will be in active use: “We will use the bike to support our events, to deliver magazines, to support our Rouleur Travel, the creation of content on the road and use the significant space available to store anything required to do so: magazines, rain jackets, food for riders, photo equipment and much more.”
Cassina notes, “It is very well engineered; it rides fantastically well, and it’s very easy to ride even when fully loaded by anyone. It’s reliable and will last many years to come without the need for maintenance. It has a lot of available space to load a lot of equipment.”
Load lugging in style.

Thanks to its Triple Load Space, the bike can carry up to 80 kilograms of cargo, perfectly distributed across three load areas without compromising its agile handling.
Heavy items can be stored in the bike’s central rack, where their low centre of gravity ensures optimal stability and cornering. Additional load can be conveniently distributed between the front and rear racks, maintaining balance and accessibility throughout.
Showcasing the adaptability of the platform, Ca Go engineer Ulrich Lantermann highlights that “we’ve equipped the rear photo case with our MIK adapter plate. This allows it to be mounted on the rear rack quickly, securely, and without any rattling — and locked in place for theft protection.” An ideal solution when the Ca Go CS is pressed into photography duty. After all, Rouleur is renowned for its elaborate photo features, especially at major sporting events such as the Tour de France and Giro d’Italia.
“In addition, the bike comes with the new Expandable Centre Bag,” Lantermann continues. “It not only protects the contents from the elements but also from theft, as it can be locked just like the trunk of a car.”
Loose accessories such as cables, filters, or light meters can be neatly stored in the Utility Bag — an additional, space-saving pouch integrated into the CS frame.
The larger photo case fits perfectly on the Extended Front Rack, while bulky equipment such as tripods can be safely secured to the rack’s rail system.
As its technical foundation, the CS200 includes everything cargo bike enthusiasts expect from a compact e-cargobike: a powerful motor, large-capacity battery, belt drive, and the reliable, low-maintenance Enviolo hub gear system.
The Ca Go x Rouleur CS200 is expected to be produced in a limited edition, with availability and pricing to be announced in the coming weeks.
