Evans Cycles has announced the opening of its new Edinburgh store, “marking a much-anticipated return to Scotland’s capital”.
Located on National Cycle Route 75, the new 4,000 sq. ft. store offers a wide selection of cycling clothing and accessories alongside a showroom with over 160 bikes across road, leisure, electric, mountain bikes, and kids’ ranges.
The store will offer customers an extensive range, from some of cycling’s most well-known brands, including Brompton, Trek, Specialized, Cube and Endura, as well as exclusive lines from the newly re-launched Vitus and the latest seasonal collection from dhb clothing.
Riders seeking performance upgrades will also find models from Colnago, one of the most prestigious names in road cycling. Edinburgh marks the second Evans Cycles store in which customers will find the Italian brand, having recently launched in the business’s London West End store.
Robert Bentley, Managing Director at Evans Cycles, commented: “Edinburgh is known for its strong and diverse riding community, and I’m delighted to welcome cyclists of all levels to their new store and the next incarnation of Evans Cycles. It’s fantastic to be back in this great city, in a location chosen with riders in mind, supporting them with expert advice, trusted servicing and an unrivalled choice of bike brands.”
The new site also includes a fully-equipped bike workshop and service centre, staffed by qualified mechanics and offering on-the-spot fixes, repairs and essential servicing. Ride to Work scheme access and Click and Collect are available in store, allowing customers to order online and receive a tailored, expert in-store handover.
This opening underlines Evans Cycles’ ongoing investment in physical retail as a central pillar of its strategy to ensure more people across the UK have local access to world-class bike brands, kit and support.
The new store is located on National Cycling Route 75, Fountainbridge, Edinburgh, EH3 9QD
