SS25 sees Chrome Industries announce its best-known and best-selling sling – the Kadet – available in a new, 100% waterproof, version.
Maintaining the design’s classic black exterior finish, watertight zippers, and matt black hardware – as found on the regular Kadet slings – the new WP collection is “constructed with fully welded seams, delivering a lightweight and 100% waterproof update”, ready to carry and deliver whatever the elements have in store.
Kadet: Three sizes. One unique look
Available in three sizes – Kadet Max 16-litre (£160), Kadet WP 8-litre (£120), and Mini Kadet WP 5-litre (£90) – the WP range is “designed and built to withstand the rigours of city life, where a sleek design and robust construction make it an ideal companion for cyclists, skaters, commuters and anyone on the move”.
Kadet Max is the go-large in-the-city option, with a 16-litre capacity, featuring interior organisation and a padded laptop sleeve designed to carry tablets and laptops up to 15”.
Kadet Max also sports a padded rear u-lock holster, reversible, padded shoulder strap for convenient left or right carry, and a 3-part plastic quick-release buckle that allows for easy on and off on the move.
The 8-litre Kadet WP is designed for carrying essentials such as a tablet, notebook, wallet, keys, and more. An adjustable shoulder strap and ergonomic design provide a comfortable fit, while the quick-release buckle allows for easy access on the move, with built-in bottle opener ready to be deployed when refreshments are required.
Designed to carry a tablet or device up to 7”, a waterproof zippered main compartment features interior organisation to keep essentials at hand, whilst a padded rear U-lock holster makes this sling the cyclist friend, with a removable stabiliser strap preventing the bag from shifting around when you are on the move.
The Mini Kadet WP boasts the same functionality and style, in a compact 5-litre edition – aimed at those seeking a bulk-free carry, which can easily accommodate a small tablet, phone, wallet, keys and other daily necessities, with interior organisation and a waterproof zippered front pocket ideal for stowing essentials.
Featuring an adjustable, crossbody strap with a a removable stabiliser strap and rear U lock holster, this neat little piece is an ideal choice for the daily commute.
