2020 Taipei Cycle Show set for 17% year-on-year growth

The 2020 Taipei Cycle Show will see a 17% increase in booths compared to the previous year, Taiwan External Development Council, the show organiser, has said.

The event will be held at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, halls 1 and 2, from 4th to 7th March 2020. It is now the “second-largest bicycle exhibition in the world”, and “not only provides a platform for manufacturers to trade but also actively promotes bicycle culture”.

The 2020 show will also see the launch of the new ‘Cycling Service’ zone, including bicycle tourism, community, cycling training and other elements.

Software applications providers Wahoo Fitness, Compat and other manufacturers will also participate in the show and provide cycling system solutions for IoT applications.

This year’s exhibition will also include the cycling fashion show for the first time, where it will introduce the latest fashions, bicycles, accessories and smart wear. It will continue to conduct test rides, international forums and cultural salons.

In line with global market trends, the Electric Bicycle and Motor System Area will be specially set up to invite e-bike manufacturers at home and abroad to participate. The display includes motors, battery modules, chargers, power management systems and other technologies. This zone, already incorporating 200 exhibitors, is twice as large as in previous years, organisers added.
