ZyroFisher has announced that it will ‘simplify its proposition’ to the UK cycling industry.
“At ZyroFisher we strive to provide a compelling and relevant proposition for our customers and our brand partners,” said a statement. “In recent years we have seen significant changes to the UK cycling market and to what we believe are the priorities of our customers.
“In light of these changes, we have reviewed our current business model and decided we need to simplify our proposition to the industry. We believe IBDs want a simplified interface with ZyroFisher encompassing our full brand portfolio and have therefore taken the decision to create a single IBD external account management team.”
The distributor will now be able to offer a dedicated point of contact to all its retail partners. Through this simplified approach, it will be able to provide an ‘unparalleled proposition’ to IBDs. Its IBD external account managers will be supported by dedicated internal account managers as well as its brand experts in its brand management and bike sales teams.
As part of its simplification strategy, it is also proposing to centralise the remaining aspects of its back office and support activity currently undertaken in Luton, and simplify the managerial and supervisory structure of its warehouse in Darlington.
“Today, we are commencing the process of communicating with all staff about these proposals,” the statement concluded. “For the next couple of months we don’t anticipate any changes and we will keep you informed as we implement our revised proposition.”
