Zyro backs Sport Relief Bike Ride

Zyro is getting behind the BT Sport Relief Million Pound Bike Ride by supplying clothing, parts and accessories for the riders.

Riding 1,000 miles over four days, the likes of Radio 1 DJ Fearne Cotton and Little Britain’s David Walliams will take it in turns to raise £1 million for Sport Relief by bike.

All the celebs will be kitted out in Altura clothing and Abus helmets, with Abus Granti X-Plus locks, Minoura trainers, Cateye lights and Tortec Razor mudguards. For the challenge the riders will be entirely kitted out in Altura and will use Cateye Strada Wireless Computers and Lupine lights.

Davina McCall, Fearne Cotton, Jimmy Carr, Miranda Hart, Russell Howard and Patrick Kielty will be among the fund-raising riders.

“Altura is very excited to be chosen as the exclusive clothing provider for such a fabulous charitable event,” said Zyro’s head of marketing Jane Watson. “Zyro’s wide portfolio of parts and accessories has meant we have been able to satisfy every demand the riders will face in the lead up to and during the four day event with real product that any consumer can buy from their local cycling retailer.

“We wish the celebrities all the best of fun and luck in their rides and all the very best to Sport Relief in surpassing their £1m fundraising target. Sport Relief will welcome any donations the bike world can offer if you would like to get involved too at a retail level. All of us are looking forward to cheering them across the finish line on March 4th.”

Each celebrity will take turns on the bicycle while the others ride in the tour bus. You can find out more, or sponsor the stars here.
