Following a rain flooded event last year, the organising committee behind York Cycle Show are putting plans into place to make the event rain-proof for 2013.
A revised site layout has now been confirmed to improve the event’s resilience – the Trade Show part of the event will relocated so that it backs directly onto a tarmac road around the site perimeter.
Traders will therefore be able to drive onto their dedicated parking area, virtually eliminating ‘on grass travel’ which caused problems in rain-saturated grass in 2012.
The Show’s Trade Pack is available for download here.
