Wonderlube launches and seeks trade partners

Wonderlube, the Wales-based start-up, has launched with a new cycle chain lube for all conditions and all riding types.

The team behind Wonderlube promises that its one product will “work in all conditions and any usage situation”. This includes high mileage touring bikes to BMX and downhill MTB.

The brand is brought to market by bike industry veteran Mark Almond who explains that Wonderlube cleans and protects in one step and was developed to offer a simple to understand and highly effective solution at a great price.

“As a long-time bike industry marketer, I have always advised clients to ask themselves what the customer wants and then – only then – how they can meet that want effectively,” he said.

“From owning a bike shop I often heard consumers asking what the difference was between different lubes. Likewise, internet forums are full of people asking the same question. If the consumer is confused, why not help them? One cost effective lube that does it all.

“Wonderlube’s cleaning action can sometimes result in a black chain the first time you ride the bike if you haven’t degreased it beforehand which is, of course, best practice and advised. This is simply the lube removing old product and any dirt from within the links.”

According to Almond, the user just has to wipe this residue away and, once clean, the lube will last many miles in any condition.

He added: “We developed the lube here in Wales across road, gravel and mountain bike and threw every condition that Wales can offer at it with great results.

“For just £15, each 250ml bottle offers terrific value for money as it will last an extremely long time and can be used across any bike in a rider’s quiver.”

Wonderlube is now seeking trade partners with trade pricing deals, no MOQs and bulk workshop options also available.
