Retailer ramps up international credentials with Spanish, German and Japanese versions

Wiggle goes multi-lingual

Online cycle retailer Wiggle’s website can now be viewed in four languages. According to the firm, the new service was launched to cope with increased demand from around the globe. can now be viewed in Spanish, German and Japanese with a French version set to launch soon.

Wiggle is also running a marketing campaign on the continent including a series of magazine adverts featuring in cycle magazines in France, Spain and Germany starting over the next few weeks.

“We ship products to customers in more than 70 countries worldwide so it makes sense for us to talk their language,” said Wiggle’s Web Manager Steve Mills.

“Shoppers can now choose their language in the Wiggle Worldwide options section where they can already select destination and currency.”

Mills added: “We will be continually working on content for the translated versions of the site; it is a very exciting step forward for us. At this stage, virtually all vital elements of the site which enable a customer to make a purchase have been translated. More and more products, categories and site elements will be updated over the coming weeks and months.”
