Wheelies unveils new online site

Cycle retailer Wheelies has launched its website – – aiming to strengthen its position in the UK online bike retail sector.

The Swansea-based firm has designed the new website with a keen focus on the customer and multiple ways of engaging with its community. Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Google + and a YouTube channel have been created as looks to engage with and build relationships with online bike and cycling communities.

"Our new website has been created with our customers in mind – it is accessible, interactive and user friendly. A key part of our business is customer engagement," explained managing director Keith Jones.

"We have made it easy for our customers and potential customers to connect with us online. We are engaging with them in a place where they already feel comfortable chatting. We are embracing social media in a big way and joining the conversation."

The firm added: "The new website provides a pleasurable shopping experience with both on and off-line help available every step of the way. Special offers, simple navigation, and a keen focus on the customer is set to make the website a force to be reckoned with."
