Weldtite, UK manufacturer of bike maintenance products including TF2 and Cyclo Tools, have promoted Ed Smith and Phil Hubbard-Smith to the roles of sales manager – UK and Ireland, and sales manager – international, respectively.
Smith is an industry veteran of more than 30 years, having honed his knowledge and sales techniques at a range of IBD’s across Humberside.
He worked as product manager at Falcon Cycles and as customer services manager at Superstar Components before joining Weldtite in 2019.
The announcement highlights that Smith has quickly become a valuable team member and his recent promotion to sales manager for UK and Ireland sees him take over the reins of Weldtite’s UK and Irish distribution channels, managing existing customers across the region.

Hubbard-Smith also began his career in an IBD, working as a mechanic at JE James.
Customer services, analyst, sales manager, and partnerships manager roles at Internet Fusion Group, LeCol and Band of Climbers followed before joining Weldtite in July 2023.
After a period working on strategic projects, Hubbard-Smith has been promoted to international sales manager – international, becoming the primary contact for Weldtite’s international partners, managing these accounts, as well as identifying new revenue streams.
Leather added: “Weldtite export to over 50 countries globally. Phil’s background in sales and marketing mixed with his knowledge of our industry puts him in a strong position to support our partners and ensure more riders are optimising their bikes with Weldtite across the world.”
