VOLT expands e-bike range with three new models

VOLT has added to its range of e-bikes with new arrivals Apex, Connect and Regent.

The latest editions offer riders the “highest quality e-bikes, equipped with the best hardware available.”

Apex

James Metcalfe, co-founder of VOLT, said: “We are constantly working to improve our range, which is why we are so excited to launch these three new models.

“We’re passionate about making cycling as accessible and inclusive as possible, and this is a positive step in that direction. We want everyone to be able to enjoy the thrill of cycling with trusted and high-quality technology.”

The Apex, a hardtail electric mountain bike, comes with a variety of high spec features which allow for “tough performance with sophisticated yet simple rideability.” It has an enhanced strengthened light-weight frame, an advanced pedal-assist system and a motor system powered by a Sony 504w battery system, which will support riders for over 80 miles on just one charge.

The Regent, taking inspiration from the Burlington, features a plethora of technology upgrades, and notably differentiates itself by using Shimano’s E6100 STEPS motor system. This e-bike boasts air-supported suspension forks to provide a lighter and more comfortable ride, Bluetooth and wireless control abilities and a powerful and responsive braking system from its hydraulic disc brakes.

Regent

All components of the Connect are selected to deliver a high-end, stylish e-bike. Smartly integrating the 504w Sony ’80 mile’ range battery with Shimano’s powerful E6100 STEPS motor system, this bike offers the “best of hybrid e-bike riding.”

Features include an advanced crank driven electric motor to deliver real-time power, Alfine hydraulic disc brake system to enable highly responsive stopping power in any condition and the “complete riders package” incorporating integrated lights, SKS mudguards, rear pannier rack and security frame lock.

Connect

VOLT welcomes test rides at its showroom in London Bridge, or at any of its Nationwide dealer network, where all are encouraged to come and try out the technology for themselves.

The Apex, Connect and Regent can be purchased online, in-store and at retailers around the country.
