Retail Store Manager – PAU Run & Ride

Due to internal promotion, PAU Run & Ride are looking to recruit an experienced Retail Store Manager to manage the store and the staff team at our flagship store at Unit 314-315 Trentham Shopping Village, Trentham, Stoke on Trent ST4 8AX.

This is a hugely exciting opportunity for a capable business leader to become the face of our growing brand. The successful candidate will supervise the operational and organisational standards of the store and be responsible for demonstrating and embedding our core values to both retail teams and to our clients.

Your duties will include collaborating with our BDM to develop business strategies, managing staff, meeting monthly sales goals and maximising customer satisfaction, as well as monitoring inventory levels, and undertaking associated store administrative tasks. You will embody what PAU stands for in your can-do attitude, motivating management style and demonstrable knowledge of the cycling and running industry.

Bicycle Assembly Technician – I-Ride and Orro Bikes

Orro Bikes, a brand at the forefront of British bike design producing Carbon, Aluminium, Titanium and Steel Road and Gravel bikes, have an opening for a talented, enthusiastic and knowledgeable Bicycle Assembly Technician to join our expanding production department.

Our bicycles are hand-built in our busy Sussex workshop, and you will play a pivotal role in meeting increasing customer demand and supporting the Company in achieving its productions goals in an efficient and timely manner. A working knowledge of Road and Gravel bikes is important as the primary responsibility will be assembling performance bicycles to a high standard.

Technical requirements desired are: a good level of cycle maintenance skills, relevant qualifications and experience (although training can be offered to the right candidate), and good technical knowledge of Shimano Di2, Sram eTap AXS and Campagnolo products is preferred but not essential as full training will be given. The successful applicant should: be organised and have good timekeeping, be presentable, have excellent attention to detail, possess good communication skills, have a polite, professional manner with a positive friendly attitude, and have the ability to follow instruction and meet production targets.

Deputy Manager – Edinburgh Bicycle Co-op

Edinburgh Bicycle Co-op is a long established, respected independent bike retailer. Founded in 1977, we operate six retail outlets across Scotland and the North of England as well as an ecommerce operation supported by a large warehouse/ distribution centre on the outskirts of Edinburgh. As an employee-owned business, service quality and the customer are at the heart of what we do.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager in our Canonmills store and we’re inviting candidates to apply. Based at our store in Rodney Street, Edinburgh, you will work closely with the Branch Manager in all aspects of running the branch.

Key responsibilities include: supporting the Branch Manager in all tasks, delivering high levels of customer service alongside the business’s active selling programme, supporting the management of individuals and groups of staff, ensuring continued staff presence on the sales floors, assisting with display & merchandising, dealing with customer service issues and complaints when they arise, operating specific and regular administrative systems, assisting with staff training & development, and assisting in carrying out necessary management procedures.

Part Time Bike Mechanic – Wicked Bike Repair

We are a busy bicycle workshop and retail unit based in Hackney Bridge, a new exciting canalside destination with lots of businesses, bars and restaurants. Our workshop is in a vibrant neighbourhood, by the canal in Hackney Wick, Surrounded by many green spaces, first among all, the Olympic Park. We are a small team of passionate cyclists and mechanics, promoting a happy workplace characterized by positive relationships between colleagues and management. The demand for our services is growing rapidly.

We work as a team undertaking all sorts of repairs and services to keep our customers’ bikes running in tip top condition. The quality of our services and repairs are our top priority, whether they want a brand-new bike bespoke to their requirements or top notch service on their latest road, we cater to everyone.

Are you an experienced bike mechanic with a passion for problem-solving and a confident approach to all types of bicycles? Do you have at least 5 years of experience or more in the field and the desire to work in a team of professional mechanics? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are a growing bicycle shop based in a community orientated Canalside destination and we are looking for a skilled and motivated Bike Mechanic to join our team.

Senior Mechanic – Giant Crystal Palace/Cadence Performance

We are looking for someone to take over the running of our busy workshop in Crystal Palace. This is a great opportunity for someone to take the workshop forward as their very own well-oiled machine. The workshop operates well with a senior mechanic and an experienced part-timer (who currently works 4 days a week).

Our Crystal Palace store sells and services some incredible bikes, but with a high percentage of expensive road bikes, so the work is varied and the customers are friendly and affluent. This role will suit an experienced mechanic looking to work in a comprehensively equipped workshop, within a friendly store team geared up to support our loyal customers. The store is a relaxed, customer focused environment. If you are already a workshop manager and fancy a change of scenery, or you’ve been working as a second mechanic and are looking for your first Senior Mechanic role this could be your next positive move.

As the senior mechanic you will need: two-plus years’ experience working on bikes priced from £300 to £5000+, a commercial outlook, a friendly personality, an ability to manage stock, people management skills, to prove you can deliver excellent customer service, good time management and able work to a schedule, key holding experience, to enjoy working in a team, and have Cytech level 2 or equivalent (or have the relevant industry experience).
