Vittoria has released what the brand is calling its “most anticipated product range in a decade: the Terreno Pro Gravel Range”.

The new Pro level tyres are said to provide measurable gains in key performance areas, with the launch announcement pointing to a “5% faster construction, 19% more grip, and 18% more puncture resistant than the already tough Terreno Endurance range. Terreno Pro even delivers a more comfortable ride.”

Vittoria points out that all of this is possible thanks to its “award-winning and revolutionary construction”.

Up until now, the Terreno Pro has, this season, been spotted being ridden by the likes of Tom Pidcock, Alison Jackson, and Lachlan Morton. With today’s launch, the Terreno Pro range is now available to all riders – in a range of sizes from 700 X 35c through to 700 x 45c.

The four tyre range comes in T10 – for hardpack, T30 – for fine loose, T50 – for mixed, and T60 – also for mixed terrain. This classification is part of the Gravel Terrain Score introduced by Vittoria in April of 2024.

Renewable and Recyclable

Terreno Pro tyres are made with 92% renewable and recycled materials. They feature an organic cotton casing (cotton is the ‘magic’ in Vittoria’s most high-end and technologically advanced products) delivering unmatched ride feel.

The casing also includes recycled nylon from discarded fishnets (Seawastex), creating a unique and highly resistant blend. Add Fair Rubber-certified natural rubber, soybean oil and rice husk ash silica, and you have a tyre that is Naturally Fast.

They are also produced in the world’s only CarbonNeutral operations certified tyre factory. Compared to the Gravel Endurance construction, the new Pro one achieves an average carbon footprint reduction of 35%*.

“This is the future. And we’re laying down the track so everyone can ride toward it. As a company, we want natural brown tyres to become the norm in a few years, while the old-school black ones, with carbon black, start to look outdated,” says Stijn Vriends, Chairman & CEO of Vittoria.

Colour is far from a secondary element in the Terreno Pro range. We’re told “the tread comes in a natural brown tone that perfectly complements the lighter cotton sidewall: an aesthetic that speaks directly to the product’s natural essence”.

Product innovation timeline

This journey started two years ago at the Taipei Cycling Show, when the Terreno Pro T60 won the TAIPEI CYCLE d&i award, Gold Award Green Prize. Since then, from the latest Gravel World Championships in mid-October to last week’s Gravel Burn in South Africa, Terreno Pro has “continued to attract huge attention across the cycling industry and among gravel enthusiasts worldwide”.

Performance and sustainability in tandem

A unique product range that breaks the long-standing taboo that sustainability can’t coexist with performance. Terreno Pro tyres are high-performance products, ready to take on the toughest gravel rides and races, getting every rider from the start to the finish as fast as possible with an incredibly quick yet sustainable construction. Good for today’s results and tomorrow’s impact.

“It started as an idea — to create a tyre that respects nature as much as it redefines performance. With Terreno Pro, that idea has become reality. Every detail was designed with the rider in mind, proving that sustainability and performance can truly coexist in harmony. Naturally fast — and made for the future.” Says Vanessa ten Hoff, Chief Marketing & Innovation Officer of Vittoria
