Visiobike integrates e-bike controls into Google Glass eyewear

Croatian electric bike brand Visiobike is to be among the first companies worldwide to integrate its own technology with the Google Glass platform, reports Bike Europe.

With the Glass beta program now live in the UK, Visiobike’s aim is to have its electronics wirelessly communicate ride data, battery life and more to the rider while in the saddle.

There’s even talk of the rider being able to alter the motor assistance with a simple swipe control, or perhaps even voice control. Google map integration is another avenue of exploration.

Linking with an owner’s mobile, Visiobike has also built in a pincode unique to each motor that should give thieves a hard time in getting the bike moving.
