Veroli Dsitribution has today announced the addition of Hawk Racing products to its portfolio, most notable for flagship brand Kyklos.
Owner of Veroli Darren Brown said, “We have been field testing the Hawk Racing bottom brackets for some time now and are amazed by the smoothness of the bearings and the quality. The bottom brackets are fitted with high quality stainless steel bearings using Folmer Technology*. In our opinion they spin faster than Ceramic and are half the price.”
The specially designed bearings have a high grade lubrication, which is typically used in a slightly different form in the aero space industry. Hawk’s bearings utilise a lighter seal than ceramic bearings.
Brown also stated that the first shipment sold out almost immediately and that "we have had to treble our next delivery demand is so high."
At present, the range consists of Shimano and Sram fit bottom brackets (English or Italian thread) in a range of anodised colours: red, white, blue, gold, pink and black. Also available are BB30 bearing kits, a BB30.24 adapter to enable a standard 24mm Axel Chainset to fit in to a BB30 frame, BB86/92 integrated bottom bracket to fit Scott and Giant frames, or any frame that carries a 86.5mm shell width and the elusive BB90 for Trek bikes.
In addition to the bottom brackets Hawk Racing produce Jockey Wheels, again using the Patented Folmer Technology, in anodized red, green and black to fit Shimano and Sram.
